Yasmin birth control is one of the options women who choose the birth control pill select. Manufactured by Bayer, Yasmin is often confused with the oral contraceptive, Yaz, also manufactured by Bayer.
In fact, the two oral contraceptives contain the same drug; however, there is a slight difference in the dosage.
Yasmin contains 28 tablets, 21 of which are active and out of the 28 tablets you get with Yaz, 24 are active. It comes in a generic version that won't be available until sometime
